Cota Cohen was born in Caracas, Venezuela where she received a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Management from Universidad Metropolitana, Caracas, Venezuela. She moved from Caracas to New York City where she worked for the Commercial Bank of New York staff and met her husband, Dr. Enrico Knobloch, with whom she shares two children.
She acquired her love for art while living in New York and since, started her own contemporary art collection. After a few years, she moved to Miami where she obtained her Real Estate license in 1998. For over 10 years, she has dedicated her time to the Miami Real Estate market as well as her family real estate business. Her management and marketing skills helps her succeed in the business and her multilingual abilities has taken her to develop relationships with international buyers. She is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Italian.
Mrs. Cohen recently joined Decorus Realty, a relatively new company in the real estate business, which in the last year grew more than most other real estate companies in the East Coast of Florida . She has very close ties to developers like Chateau and Chetrit Groups, as well as many other Real Estate enterprises in the area. She specializes in valued investments and opportunities in real estate for her clients, nationally and internationally.
Due to her passion for art, Mrs. Cohen has developed long lasting relationships with well-known art collectors in Miami and around the world. She writes articles for Ocean Drive Magazine, sharing her travel experiences to International Art Fairs and Art related happenings worlwide.
Cota helps and contributes to non-profit organizations, including Step by Step, Yeshiva Orot Hatchuva, and Wizo. She is a member co-founder of Fundacion Juan de Borbon Spain - Israel
