Lisa Vogel began her real estate career in the property management industry over 20 years ago. She has since worked with some of the most prestigious South Florida developers, including Turnberry and Williams Island. For several years, she worked in Las Vegas, opening and training staff of several luxury condominiums for the Turnberry organization before coming back home to South Florida to manage the Continuum property on South Beach. Lisa has been recognized for her excellence in the property management industry receiving the Property Manager of the Year award from Community Associations Institute (a national organization for property managers).
Lisa shared with us “working in property management made me realize that I very much prefer working directly with homeowners and prospective homeowners to help them solve problems and make their dreams come true - whether by helping them find the perfect home or investment property, or helping them sell their current homes and move into their next dream home.”
Having worked for decades directly with luxury residential property owners, Lisa has experienced virtually every potential problem that can occur inside and outside a property. As a property manager, it was her responsibility to address almost every problem and concern to the owner’s satisfaction, giving her a unique perspective in understanding clients’ desires and needs. Lisa’s work ethic and philosophy is reflected in this statement she made: “I have found that, even though all clients (buyers and sellers alike) expect and appreciate a knowledgeable and educated realtor, there is nothing my clients appreciate more than my candor and honesty.”
Shortly after beginning work with a small start-up real estate company out in west Broward County, Florida, Lisa’s friends at Decorus invited her to see their organization, and, she shares, “I was, in a word, dazzled - by their warmth, professionalism and philosophy. I knew immediately it was the place for me.” Fortunately, Lisa’s mentors at Decorus invited her to join their team and the rest, as they say, is history!
When property owners entrust their listings to her, Lisa treats it as though she is selling her own home - and she is adamant that she will never “down-sell” a property to a client just to make a sale. Together, Lisa will review comparable sales in the market, economic trends, demand for your property, and set the optimal listing price for your property - one that does not undervalue your property, but also one that does not price you out of the market so that your property sits stagnant in an active real estate market. Again, Lisa Vogel will give you the honest facts, and you will make all the decisions!
To give you a brief introduction to Lisa Vogel, the person behind the real estate professional, in her own words: “I was born the daughter of a Long Island, NY real estate developer and an editor who had five children, most of whom ended up in real estate or law, or both! After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University, I spent a few years in France, and became fluent in reading, writing and speaking French, and eventually, functionally literate in Spanish.
“My greatest passions in life are my family and friends; my greatest indulgence is tennis; and my most rewarding moments in life are when I have accomplished something and feel I have made a difference. I devote much of my free time to the Steven C. Bagdan Charitable Foundation, a South Florida charity which provides scholarships to exceptional minority students who would not otherwise have the financial means to attend college.
“By focusing my real estate career on luxury residential purchases and sales for my clients, I believe I have been able to make a difference in their lives; and because I have treated all my clients with respect, courtesy and candor, I am proud to say that my dearest friends in life are either fellow real estate professionals or clients.”
If you want to make your South Florida real estate dreams become a reality, give Lisa Vogel a call. You won’t regret it!
