Sunny Isles Condos for Sale

About Sunny Isles

Sunny Isles Beach is located on a barrier island on the northeast section of Miami Beach, in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The east side is directly on the Atlantic Ocean, the west side is facing the Intracoastal Waterway, and it has one main road running north to south, Collins Avenue. Because of its incredible beauty of sun and surf, the City Commission has approved a new name of "Florida's Riviera" for this prestigious, prime location, likening it to that of the oceanside community of St. Tropez in Southeast France. The City of Sunny Isles Beach is situated perfectly between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, making it a half an hour drive to both the Miami International Airport and the Port of Miami to the south, and the Fort Lauderdale Airport and Port Everglades to the north.

There are major shopping centers within minutes of Sunny Isles Beach offering an extensive selection of shops, restaurants, and services for all your needs. The Aventura Mall is a 2.4 million square foot indoor shopping mall with over 250 world-class shops including Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, Faconnable, Stuart Weitzman, anchored by major department stores such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, Sears, JCPenney, numerous restaurants and eateries to suit every palate, an artist-designed interactive playground called Rainbow Valley, and a 24-screen AMC Movie Theatre.

Minutes away is upscale shopping at the famous Bal Harbour Shops featuring the latest in design and fashion. These world renowned designer shops and boutiques are flanked by two major department stores, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The Village at Gulfstream Park is another major shopping center featuring a large collection of trendy shops, boutiques, home accessory shops, signature restaurants, outdoor cafes, and nightclubs. The Gulfstream Park, a magnificent Mediterranean structure, is adjacent to the Village with a seasonal horse racing schedule and a Las Vegas-style Casino.

Sunny Isles Beach became a City in 1997, and developed this beautiful area with its two-and-a-half mile stretch of white sand beach into a prime location for locals as well as visitors. From the heyday of "motel row," the city has slowly but surely transitioned to a "millionaire's row" featuring luxurious developments now gracing the east side of Collins Avenue as well as a myriad of infrastructure improvements, beautification projects and beneficial services. The 2010 census determined the population of residents was 20,832, an increase of 17% from the 2000 census. Although Sunny Isles Beach is growing, it is at a pace that is not overwhelming the infrastructure and services that the City provides. It is a community that lets you experience all that you ever heard about South Florida living, with its white sand beaches, sunshine, with easy access to shopping at its best, fine dining at restaurants with celebrity chefs, and a short drive to the pulsating South Beach area where the sizzling nightclub life and entertainment abounds.

Sunny Isles Beach is a marvelous South Florida destination that lives up to its new name of "Florida's Riviera". It is ranked No. 1 of top ten U.S. destinations by TripAdvisor Travelcast. The perfect location to enjoy your favorite water sports, fishing, boating, take a leisurely stroll on the landmark fishing pier, or relax at the 2.1 acre Samson Oceanfront Park, which has a children's play area. In addition, it is a great spot to exercise, feel the ocean breezes, watch the gentle surf of the Atlantic Ocean, and meet with friends. The uniqueness of Sunny Isles Beach is that you will find all of this within walking distance.

With its world class resorts and some of the most luxurious condos in all of South Florida, Sunny Isles Beach attracts many from all over the world who make this their island home away from home. One to mention is the Acqualina Resort and Spa, sitting on the white sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, a magnificent condo resort exuding a Mediterranean ambience with spectacular views. When beauty, luxury, and tranquility fuses on Sunny Isles Beach, you will find that "Florida's Riviera" is where the feelings of tropical, lavish, incredible, splendid, and paradise become one!
